The Zand Law Firm, PLLC was founded in 2009 by its founding partners Jamie Zand and Dean Zand. Jamie and Dean Zand are local residents of Fort Bend County where they reside with their four children and two Schnauzers. The Zand Law Firm, PLLC is a family run law firm that prides itself in the compassion and dedication it gives each and every client. At The Zand Law Firm, PLLC we work together as a team to provide our clients with the paramount legal representation they deserve and need to achieve desired results. Dean Zand is a native Texan who was born in Houston and raised in Fort Bend County. Dean is a graduate of Texas A&M University where he received his B.S. in Economics, minor in Finance and Business Certificate in Economics. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Dean worked at an Engineering Firm in Houston. Always having the desire to become a lawyer, Dean attended South Texas College of Law. While attending law school, Dean became familiar with the legal system of Fort Bend County by working in the 328th District Court of Fort Bend County and with a local law firm. Jamie Zand was raised in a farming community in North Dakota where she received her B.S. Health Care Administration from The University of North Dakota. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Jamie worked as a nurse on a medical/surgical unit in Fargo, North Dakota, until making the decision to attend law school. While attending South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, Jamie worked with the Fort Bend County District Attorney Office in the juvenile division, where she became familiar with the local courts, judges and prosecutors.
